Premium synthetic turf installs with proper base prep — compacted aggregate, weed barrier, seam tape, and infill. Pet-friendly, drought-tolerant, and zero-mow. Ideal for play areas, tight side yards, and pool surrounds where natural grass struggles year after year.
Pricing varies by site. Final scope, materials, and access influence the all-in number — we'll quote your specific project after a quick conversation.

Premium synthetic turf installs engineered for San Antonio conditions — UV-stable yarn rated for direct Texas sun, polyurethane backing that drains, and a base built to stay flat through 5-inch downpours and 100-degree heat. We install for play areas, pet runs, tight side yards, pool surrounds, rooftops, and any spot where natural grass loses the annual war against shade, traffic, or water restrictions.\n\nThe base is where cheap turf installs fail. A poured 4-inch compacted aggregate base of decomposed granite or Class 5 road base is laser-screed level, with a 1 to 2 percent grade pitched to drainage. Skip that step and you get puddling, ripples, and seam separation within a year. We use 100-percent polypropylene weed barrier under the base — not landscape fabric — and seam with stitch-bonded seam tape plus turf adhesive, not nails through the backing.\n\nInfill is silica sand for stability plus an antimicrobial pet-grade topper where dogs are involved. Total install cost is driven by square footage, access, base depth, and turf product selection — we quote face-weight, pile height, and warranty terms in writing.
Design, build, irrigation, and maintenance all run under one roof — no subbing out, no juggling vendors. You get one project manager from sketch through final walk-through.
Built for South-Central Texas — heavy clay, caliche, long dry summers, and flash rain. Our designs and installs are tuned to what survives and looks good locally.
No surprise line items. We size the work after a quick conversation or site visit and issue a written quote with materials and labor broken out so you can compare apples to apples.
Turf is sourced from US-manufactured lines with documented UV-stability testing — not import stock that fades and crisps within two summers. Backing is dual-layer polyurethane with 12-by-12 perforation drainage rated above 30 inches per hour. Base aggregate is decomposed granite or Class 5 road base, compacted in 2-inch lifts, never dumped and raked. Bender-board edge restraint locks the perimeter so panels don't migrate over time. Seaming uses stitch-bonded seam tape with manufacturer-spec adhesive — cold seams that look invisible at install and stay that way. For pet installs, we substitute an antimicrobial zeolite-based infill that neutralizes ammonia odor and reduces the need for frequent rinsing.
We measure the area, walk drainage, and bring physical turf samples so you can compare face-weight, pile height, blade shape, and color blends. Pet households get a different spec than putting greens or pool surrounds.
Existing sod, soil, or mulch is excavated 4 to 5 inches down. Edges are formed with bender-board or steel restraint, then a compacted aggregate base is built up in lifts with a plate compactor between passes.
Base is screed flat with a slight drainage pitch — typically 1 to 2 percent away from structures. Final compaction hits 90-plus percent density so the turf rides on a surface that won't settle.
Turf is rolled out with grain direction matched on all panels, trimmed tight to edges, and seamed with stitch-bonded tape and turf adhesive. Perimeter is nailed every 4 to 6 inches with 5-inch galvanized spikes.
Silica sand and pet-grade infill are broadcast and power-broomed into the blades to set pile direction, weight the turf for stability, and finish with a uniform groomed look across every panel.
